The PS24 consists of a 24 Ah battery, CH150 regulator, and a 10 by 12 in. environmental enclosure. This power supply is intended for systems such as the ET107 where the weather station's enclosure is not large enough to house a BP24 battery. The PS24 enclosure has one 1.5 in. diameter conduit for cable entry and several options for mounting it on a tripod or tower. The sealed rechargeable battery should be recharged via an ac wall charger or a solar panel. The wall charger and solar panel are ordered separately as common accessories.
A 3.05 m (10.0 ft) cable is included that goes from the PS24 to a data logger or a device that needs 12V/Ground from the PS24.

Look for a stamp on top of the battery. The stamp may be in a date format of YYMMDDXX where:
- YY is the year.
- MM is the month.
- DD is the day.
- XX is the manufacturing plant.
This indicates the age of the battery.

The BP24 with a CH100 and a 10 in. by 12 in. enclosure with special mounting brackets is equivalent to a PS24.
The PS24 includes the BP24, a 10 in. by 12 in. enclosure, voltage regulator (CH100), back panel, mounting bracket and strap, and a longer power cable—all in one. The PS24 may be a suitable option when installing the battery in a separate enclosure because the data logger’s enclosure is not large enough to house the battery. The PS24 is often used with the ET107 when a larger battery is required.
