Q: I can’t wait to get started using my new CR6. What should I do first?
A: The CR6 has a built-in USB port; so, you’ll need to install the driver for it first. Using the latest version of the Device Configuration Utility, select CR6 from the device list and (1) click the Install USB Driver link. Step through the wizard then go ahead and plug in the USB cable. Now, (2) the USB communications port will show up in the selection list as CR6 (COM number).
Tip: The CR6 can be powered solely from its USB port for programming and configuration.
