Double Connection

Karlin Jun 24, 2025 06:26 PM

I have two different cr1000x that i need to watch at the same time. Can I connect to both at the same time with loggerNet and display the live data?

Thank you,

Karlin

Yes, Loggernet can be connected to many data loggers.

The two data loggers should be set to different Pakbus addresses.

Connect Screen will only connect to one device at a time.

Configure scheduled data collection for both data loggers and use RTMC as the data display.

There is a program available in the LoggerNet suite called "Network Planner".  This program allows you to draw out your network of dataloggers and a PC running LoggerNet and link these together.  As you draw the links, you will specify the type of link (serial, TCP, etc) and be shown forms to fill out the details for each link.  It will automatically assign PakBus address values for the dataloggers and for LoggerNet and provides a configure facility that will allow you to generate the settings for your dataloggers, send these settings to each datalogger, and configure LoggerNet devices and settings.
