CRBasic, "Compile, Save and Send" missing destination

MortenS Oct 29, 2018 12:33 PM

Hi

In CRBasic: If I use the "Compile, save and send" function, there are no dataloggers to choose as destination.

If I'm usen the "Connect Screen" It's working fine. It list the configured datalogger and sending and compiling works fine.

Using Loggernet v4.5 and CRBasic Editor v3.7.

CR1000
Compiler: C:\Campbellsci\Lib\Compilers\CR1Comp.exe
Version: CR1000.Std.32.03 CompileDate: 08/03/2018
DefFile: C:\Campbellsci\Lib\CRBasicDefFiles\CR1000.def
HelpFile: C:\Campbellsci\Lib\CRBasicDefFiles\CRBasic1.chm

Windows 10 x64 Education, Build 17134.345

If Loggernet is closed, CRBasic Editor can't read out the station list from the server.

Security settings in Loggernet could also prevent the list from loading.

Hi Jdavis

I allways running the editor using the toolbar.

After a reinstall to see if that helped - i remembererd that I got to use another ipport than 6789.

in the shortcut I use: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Campbellsci\LoggerNet\ToolBar.exe" /ipport=60000

to avoid this message:  "Unable to start program because the Campbell Scientific communications server is already running". As showen in this faq: https://www.campbellsci.com/faqs?v=111

If it let the CRBasic Editor timeout, it will say "The connection with the communications server has been lost"

Can I point the CRBasicEditor to the server ?

I tried using "crbasiceditor.exe /ipport=60000" without luck.
