Temp calibration on CR100, getting 30C error

ChrisH Jul 19, 2018 03:41 AM

Hi all

I have been trying to calibrate a customers cr1000 logger via a simulated type k input, thermocouple junctions also connect to a AM25T before connecting to logger.

I was getting around a 30C error which i thought was wierd so plugged calibrator into a thermometer I had but reading came up fine. After much fiddling I found that turning the automatic cold junction (temp reference) off on the calibrator made the readings on the cr1000 correct but then made the readings on my thermometer 30C out and turning it back on obviously flipped them back.

My question is had anyone else found this before or does anyone have any solutions to the problem.

Thanks in advance
