How to connect hall effect flow rate sensor to CR6

Haitham May 14, 2018 07:02 PM

Hello,

Can someone suggest how to connect the Gems hall effect  turbu=ine flow rate sensor FT-110

http://www.controlcomponents.com.au/products/documents/gems_flow_level/gf22_ft_110_turboflow_1.pdf

to CR6.

Is there any example code to do that using CR basic, or I can do it using the shortcut.

Thanks

The signal type is labeled as open collector. So, do a pulse measurement in switch closure mode.

If it outputs pulses in gallons, do the running average option over 60,000 ms to get gpm.
